Let’s break away and be a Scottish state

Have your say

I have been listening with interest to Alex Salmond explaining what the benefits would be of breaking away from the UK, and I can’t see any downside, with what I have heard about the extra benefits to the Scottish People.

They already have free prescriptions for everyone and no University fees for their own students and after independence many many more advantages.

By what I can make out they will still have a say and a vote in Westminster and all the benefits they have now, but if it is something they don’t like they will just say “it doesn’t apply to Scotland.

It appears to be a win-win situation.

I would hereby like to make a plea to Alex Salmond, “is there any chance of Yorkshire breaking away and maybe becoming a Scottish State” maybe like the US and Alaska?
