Legion centre will re-open
THE flood-damaged Royal British Legion centre, on Sprotbrough Road, reopens with an all-ticket event on Saturday, October 6.
Spokesman Brian Sharman said: “The RBL’s beautiful branch has a magnificent new look. People are welcome to the opening night, though it is ticket only. We have to thank our branch committee for all the hard work that has been done so that our members could once again enjoy the Saturday dancing and Tuesday dances which are the first and third Tuesday of every month.”
