Learning lesson about crimes

Have your say

Teenagers have received practical lessons in staying safe in their homes and on the streets.

Around 25 young people aged between 12 and 15 from around Rotherham took part in a full day of safety awareness training at the Lifewise Centre in Hellaby, Rotherham.

The centre provides a realistic but safe setting of specially-built shops, houses and streets where young people can learn vital life skills.

Training covered internet safety, the dangers of gangs or knife crime and anti-social behaviour - and was followed by a mock trial.
