Just thought I'd throw my two penn'orth in on the debate going on in The Star.

Your right, Owls fans, we are shocking at the moment, what’s needed at the Lane is leaders on the pitch, fearsome, inspirational characters who will give their all and make sure others do too. Chris Morgan and going further back Eddie Colquhoun, Trevor Hockey, Mick Speight were those sort of players.

Don’t worry Wednesday we’ll be back having our senses filled up.

And before you start going on about how massive you are, say it when and if you get in the Premiership and are up there with the likes of Manchester United and City, Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool season after season.

Without Bannan and Forestieri you’re quite average.
