The final batch out of 132 new council houses built in Rotherham over the last two years in an £8.8 million programme has been officially opened.
Five new homes have been launched by the Mayor of Rotherham, Coun Shaun Wright, at Whitehill Willow, Brinsworth.
The properties have been built using a modular construction method, produced in a factory before being delivered to the site and then lifted by crane into place and completed by Bramall Construction. There are two two-bedroom semi-detached homes, two three-bedroom semis and one three-bedroom detached home.
Other new developments created as part of the programme have been built in Newland Avenue and Stone Park Close, Maltby; Wood Street, Thrybergh; Albany Road, Kilnhurst; Albert Road, West Melton; and at Rother View Road, Canklow.
