Two men have been left injured after a shooting in Sheffield last night.

Emergency services were called to Headford Grove at around 1.20am in the early hours of this morning following reports that two men had been injured.

One man, aged 24, suffered injuries to his upper body while the second man, also aged 24, suffered injuries to his lower body. They both remain in hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The investigation is in its early stages and officers will remain in the area today carrying out enquiries to ascertain the exact circumstances around what happened.

Headford Grove remains closed off at this point.
