Sheffield United fans have had their say on THAT picture of Blades squad in America

Have your say

After 46 gruelling games, the Championship season is finally over for Sheffield United and the squad can put their feet up.

Chris Wilder's side found themselves top of the league after a 3-1 win away at Burton Albion in November, but the Blades eventually missed out on the play-off places.

Despite finishing tenth, it was another successful season for the Blades on their return to the Championship as they finished 12 points ahead of their city rivals.

So, while the play-off semi finals are currently taking place, the Blades' have been enjoying a well-deserved break in America.

On Monday, full-back George Baldock shared a snap of the lads arm-in-arm enjoying a few drinks in the American sun.

Chris Basham, Jack O'Connell, Simon Moore, Billy Sharp, Ryan Leonard, Ricky Holmes, John Lundstram, Daniel Lafferty and John Fleck all feature in the picture alongside Baldock.

Sheffield United fans have been quick to have their say on the picture, in particular pointing out the fashion choices of some of the players.

One fan tweeted: " can't go wrong with an horrendous shirt. #SUFC #twitterblades"

Another wrote: "Some of the shorts in this are a bit debatable #twitterblades"

"Very debatable choice of clothing from the Bladesmen ahaha #twitterblades," another Blade tweeted.

Many fans also replied to Baldock on his Instagram post but reaction to the fashion choices was again mixed to say the least.

Baldock wrote: "Class break away with the bladesmen ⚔️"

One fan complimented Billy Sharp on his shirt while another said that Fleck had got his 'mother's shorts on'.

Another asked if Basham had 'got dressed in the dark' while another declared there was some 'awful clobber on show'.

Many fans asked where popular players including Mark Duffy, Paul Coutts, David Brooks and Jamal Blackman were.

Last year, the Sheffield United squad were pictured wearing 'Simply Lovleh' t-shirts on their break away in Las Vegas.
