Lodge Moor Scout Group completed a sponsored walk for the British Heart Foundation after the charity helped to benefit the life of one of their members.

The group completed part of the Sheffield Round Walk on Sunday, July 3, and raised more than £700 for BHF. They chose the cause as assistant scout leader James Szymczak was born with a congenital heart condition and received support from the charity. Organiser John-Paul Ashton said he was “very proud of the scouts’ efforts” on a “challenging, yet fun exploration.”
