Abseil down a 120ft Sheffield building for charity

Have your say

Daredevils are being invited to abseil down a 120ft building in Sheffield next month.

A group of events management students at Sheffield Hallam University have organised Challenge: Abseil in an effort to raise some £5,000 for The Children’s Hospital Charity.

The brave abseilers will make their way down the university’s Owen building - the large building by the train station with the poem on the side.

The money will go towards the charity’s Make it Better campaign.

The abseil takes place on Sunday, March 22 and it is £20 to take part. Each participant is asked to raise £100 in sponsorship and there is a prize for whoever raises the most money.
