Sheffield Council has promised £70,000 to fund improvements to Bingham Park, which is close to Greystones and Hunters Bar, and that sum could be topped up to as much as £250,000 with other income from grants and fundraising.

New tennis, table tennis, climbing and skating facilities are among a host of ideas previously suggested to improve the park and attract more visitors.
