LATEST: Man arrested over assault after police box in car on busy Sheffield road
Armed police officers involved in pulling over and boxing in a car on a busy Sheffield road arrested a man over an assault.
South Yorkshire Police said a 36-year-old man was arrested after a taxi was stopped on the A61 Halifax Road, Grenoside.
A force spokesman said he was wanted over an earlier assault in High Green.
The man is in police custody.
