Last few tickets left for Sheffield charity abseil

There are just 10 tickets remaining for the opportunity to abseil down one of Sheffield’s most recognisable buildings.

The 120ft abseil challenge on March 22 will take place down the Owen Building - the building by the train station with the poem down the side of it.

Organised by a group of events management students from Sheffield Hallam University, the event aims to raise £5,000 for the Children’s Hospital Charity’s Make it Better appeal.

Organiser Hannah Barrett said: “We have raised over £2,000 so far and we are still hoping to meet our target. There will be live music and a guest appearance from Theo the bear, the charity’s mascot.”

Participants are asked to raise £100 in sponsorship. Booking details:
