Landmarks in Lego display

Have your say

The world’s greatest buildings and landmarks have been recreated in Lego brickes as part of an extraordindary new exhibition at The Harley Gallery in Worksop.

The Brick City exhibition, featuring Westminster Abbey, Washington’s Lincoln Memorial, Rome’s ornate Trevi Fountain and the iconic L’Arc de Triomphe opens on Saturday. The star of the show is undoubtedly a 5ft tall by 5ft long replica of St Pancras station in London, which took more than 500 hours to build over two years. Created from more than 150,000 Lego bricks, the station is fully ‘working’ in that each of the six platforms can be used and trains run in and out.

More than 50 models will be on display at the free exhibition, which will run until January 10.
