The article mentioned famous stammerers, including Rowan Atkinson, Bruce Willis, and Emily Blunt. I would like to inform your readers that these three stammerers are the subject of biographical articles in the Celebrity Corner section of the website of the US -based nonprofit organization The Stuttering Foundation.

There are also articles on Gareth Gates, Marc Anthony, Sam Neill, Ann Wilson, Paul Young and Lewis Carroll. The site also gives many free resources to stammerers of all ages.

The speech therapist quoted in the article, Kate Williams, was correct when she said that the aim of speech therapy was not to “cure” stammering but to help the stammerers successfully control their speech.
