KING Mojo Peter Stringfellow joined city music legends Dave Berry and Frank White to rock and roll back the years at a special book party in Sheffield, writes Graham Walker.
The world’s most colourful nightclub boss returned home to recreate his iconic King Mojo club, which launched his empire and sparked the city’s music scene back in the swinging sixties.
The club is long gone so the fun night was held at another iconic city venue, The Leadmill. It marked the publication of Neil Anderson’s new The Dirty Stop Out’s Guide to 1960s Sheffield.
Profits from the night will go towards a Star backed Sheffield Blitz Memorial Trail.
