Kids warned to behave

POLICE visited a Chesterfield youth club to talk to children about the consequences of anti-social behaviour and how to avoid getting involved in it.

Officers spent time at the Resource Centre youth club in Old Whittington and spoke about the impact nuisance behaviour can have on others, particularly the elderly.

Police Community Support Officer Sheila Rooksby said: “We hope these talks will nip the problem of anti-social behaviour in the bud by making young people aware of the consequences of their actions.

“With parental guidance and the provision of activities for young people we can make our communities a safe place for both adults and children.”
