Grimethorpe Colliery Band played to a packed audience at Doncaster Minster to raise cash for a health charity.
The performance by the band, famous for its role in the film Brassed Off, helped raise £2,572 for the Doncaster and Bassetlaw Kidney Association.
Association chairman Alan Sutton said: “This was an amazing evening. The acoustics at St George’s meant the band sounded at its finest and the programme for the evening was the band’s latest concert repertoire.”
The association helps kidney patients and families.
