A BALL organised by a friendship and dating agency for people with learning difficulties welcomed boxer Kell Brook as guest of honour.
The 25-year-old WBA Intercontinental welterweight title holder, of Owlerton, was VIP at the Luv2meetU Annual Extravaganza Ball at Stardust Night Club, Cambridge Street.
Luv2meetU is a community interest company established by national learning disability charity Hft, which provides local support for people with learning disabilities and their families across the north of England.
More than 80 members and friends of the unique friendship and dating agency attended the celebration party where Kell drew the raffle and and had photos taken with guests.
A spokeswoman for the group said: “Luv2meetU is establishing itself as a unique operation in the north of England where there are very few friendship and dating agencies for people with learning disabilities. The agency is aiming to make a real difference in their lives.”
