Keep it up Mary Steele

Its not quite the done thing for frequent contributors to the Star to congratulate each other but following Mary Steele's latest responses, especially the one regarding Parson Cross, I must do so.

Back in the Sixties (Gawd, last century) I had two aunts on Southey Green Road who hailed from Sudbury Street.

Their houses were like palaces, everyone donkey-stoned their steps and grew rhubarb in their back gardens.

Rent was paid on time, gardens were kept tidy and such few cars that were about would never be parked on the grass verge.

Well said, Mary and keep it up.
