A jury has retired to consider its verdict in the Jordan Thomas murder trial.

Mr Thomas, 22, was shot dead at point blank range by a masked gunman on Derek Dooley Way on December last year.

Ahmed, of Broomhall Place, and Yousaf, of Violet Bank Road, both deny murdering Jordan Thomas and attempting to murder Neshaun Ferguson, who was also injured in the incident.

Yousaf's father, Mohammed Yousaf, 61, also of Violet Bank Road, denies attempting to pervert the course of justice.

The trial at Sheffield Crown Court has lasted for seven weeks.
