Join in our fun day
The Star is throwing its weight behind Sheffield Children's Hospital Charity with a day to support its elephant herd.
Our team will be spending the day alongside our elephant on Devonshire Green - and your family is invited. Come along between 10am to 1.30pm on Friday for a range of giveaways, a raffle, plenty of food and fundraising initiatives for people of all ages. The charity’s mascot Theo the bear will also be there to bring a smile to young faces.
And there will be a chance to share your news, ideas and suggestions for your local newspaper with members of The Star team, including editor Nancy Fielder. A Star photographer will be there to snap families with our elephant - to be printed in The Star throughout the following week.
We would love to see you there - so come along and help us support your Children’s Hospital.
