Join the Mayor for a run around town's Clifton Park

The people of Rotherham are being invited to join the Mayor, Coun Maggi Clark, to walk or run Sainsbury's Sport Relief Mile, which takes place in Clifton Park next month.

Coun Clark said: “I’ve got my Sport Relief t-shirt and although I’ll be walking - not running - the mile I’m hoping to do everyone proud by raising as much money as possible for Sport Relief.

“I hope as many local people as possible are able to join me on the day and walk, run or even hop themselves proud to make a difference to people in the UK and all over the world!”

Visit www.sportrelief.com to sign up for the run, which will set off from Clifton Park Museum on Sunday March 20. There will also be a host of family activities throughout the day, including tennis, orienteering and boccia.
