BBC Radio 4’s ‘Any Questions?’ is being broadcast live from the newly-opened campus on November 25 and members of the public are being offered the chance to join the audience, ask the panellists a question and influence the debate.

The lively topical discussion programme is presented by Jonathan Dimbleby, and attracts a high profile panel of personalities.

Sarah Clark - principal of the £10m facility which specialises in computing, health sciences and sport science - said: “We are delighted to host such a high profile programme, and to welcome the public to our fantastic new facilities that are breathing new life into this area of the city and investing in the next generation.

“The opportunity to observe and become involved in current issues and political debate supports the fostering of skills at the UTC such as the ability to analyse information, construct arguments and become confident speakers.

“These competencies are highly valued by both employers and universities and support our students to be successful in the future.”

Doors for the event open at 6.30pm and the live broadcast will run from 8pm to 8.50pm.
