Jogger death: inquest opens

AN INQUEST into the death of a Doncaster man killed while jogging on a country lane has been adjourned.

Derek Lyon, aged 52, a married man, of The Crescent, Conisbrough, died from injuries after a tipper lorry collided with him on Ruddle Lane, Micklebring, last Thursday.

The truck driver, aged 38, was arrested and later bailed. Police are still seeking witnesses to the crash, who are asked to call 101 quoting incident number 749 of March 22.
