SUPERHEROES were out in force for the Big Toddle at a Sheffield school for Barnado’s charity.

Youngsters, staff and parents from Owler Brook Primary School in Firth Park joined in the cartoon capers dressing as caped crusaders from films and story books.

The life-size Jofli Bear took part in the toddle and encouraged the younger children to complete their walk to collect their sponsorship.

Headteacher Sue Bridges said the Big Toddle event was a great success with games, ice creams and healthy snacks enjoyed by more than 150 families who joined in the fun at the school.
