Jobs fair to help fill posts at new retail and office development in Sheffield

A jobs fair is to be held in Sheffield to promote the jobs available at a new development in the city.

The Fox Valley development in Stocksbridge, a new retail and office development, opens in June.

The £50 million development has attracted a number of major names, including Seasalt, M&Co, Regatta and Costa Coffee - all of which will be attending the event in the hope of finding staff.

Ponti’s Italian Kitchen, Sanderson’s Department store, Champley Shoes and fashion cosmetics brand, Benefit are also set to join the line up on the day.

Positions available range from sales assistants and retail staff, front and back of house staff and trainee barista’s to cleaners and security staff.

The development is expected to create hundreds of new jobs.

The jobs fair at Fox Valley on Thursday, April 21 will run from 11am to 5.30pm.

Amanda Holmes, of Dransfield Properties, the company behind the development, said: “We have had a great deal of interest in our Jobs Fair both from the businesses at Fox Valley and from members of the public who are keen to find out more about some of the opportunities.”
