More than one in three employees in Yorkshire and Humber feel they are further behind in their careers than they would like to be.

A survey by the Chartered Management Institute also found that one in five believe they have been overlooked for promotion or a pay-rise in the last year because their employer doesn’t have the funds to pay for them to progress.

One in 20 say their boss is not fighting their corner enough.
