Jim raises charity cash

TEACHER Jim Taylor has raised more than £900 for The Sick Children’s Trust by cycling 145 miles in just 11 hours, to the house of every member of his department!

Jim, head of Humanities at Firth Park Community Arts College, decided he wanted to do something to help the charity which supported colleague Antony Hirst.

Antony stayed at The Sick Children’s Trust accommodation Treetop House while his son Noah received treatment for a bowel condition at Sheffield Children’s Hospital.
