Jewellery stole during burglary of house in Rotherham

High value jewellery was stolen from a house in Rotherham during a break-in.

A property in Godric Drive, Brinsworth, was broken into between 7pm and 9.15pm on Thursday, March 17.

A car was taken from the drive and a collection of jewellery - two gold rings and six gold bangles - were also stolen.

PC Tom Jordan, of South Yorkshire Police, said: “The jewellery is of highly sentimental value to the owner and I would ask people to keep an eye out for anyone who may be selling these distinctive items - two gold rings and six gold bangles were taken from the property.
