Jewellery and electrical items stolen during raid in Hathersage

Jewellery and electrical items were stolen in a raid of a home in Hathersage.

A police hunt has been launched for a man who allegedly carried out an armed robbery at a Doncaster petrol station.

The kitchen window of a property in Mill Lane was smashed to gain entry to the property.

High value electrical items including an Apple MacBook Air, Apple MacBook Pro, a Hewlett Packard laptop and an Apple iPhone SE were stolen.

Jewellery was also taken, including pearl and jewelled earrings, a stone set necklace, a pearl necklace and an animal pendent.

Police officers want to speak to residents who may have seen a man in the area described as in his early 20s, slim and around 5ft 8ins - 5ft 10ins tall.

He had short, dark hair and is believed to have been wearing a black jacket.
