IF SHE could drive as well as she performs on the track then Sheffield golden girl Jessica Ennis would save herself a fortune.

Former world heptathlon champion Jess discovered she could save more than £1,100 a year on her fuel bill - and the weight of her car in CO2 emissions – after taking part in an eco-driving test.

Jess, aged 25, drove a three-litre diesel car as part of a green initiative from BP Target Neutral to help motorists reduce their carbon footprints and save money on fuel costs.
