James Toseland and Katie Melua hail Chesterfield business

The couple visited the town on Saturday to mark five years since the opening of Toseland Properties on New Square.

Toseland Properties was opened in summer 2011 by James’s brother Simon and Michael Jones.

Michael said: “James and Katie thoroughly enjoyed the day. They congratulated us on all we have achieved in five years of business and wished us all at Toseland Properties many more years of success.”

He added: “As well as being five-years-old, we are now offering a full estate agency service along side our letting services – hench the celebrations on Saturday afternoon. Having built up a large number of clients in five years, we are now in a position to offer additional services for the benefit of our existing and new clients.”

Two-time world superbike champion James retired from professional sport in 2011 and now fronts heavy rock group Toseland.

Singer, songwriter and musician Katie released her first album Call Off the Search in 2003. It reached the top of the UK album charts and sold 1.8 million copies in its first five months of release. Her second album Piece by Piece was released in 2005 and to date has gone platinum four times. She released her third studio album Pictures in 2007.
