It's time for a new start
I'd like to congratulate Peter Flynn on his excellent letter '˜Leave for your kids' on June 8.
If I hadn’t made my mind up before, I certainly have now. The Tory government are bringing this country to its knees, supporting big businesses while the steel industry and the NHS are going down the pan. Then there’s the immigration problem which we’re promised, if we remain, will be more controlled. Then why hasn’t this been done already?
We could always try the Australian points system, it works for them.
Like Mr Flynn says the experiment has failed. It’s time for a new start. Let’s take this chance to get our country back on its feet. We owe it to ourselves and our kids.
