Now, Tracey has been recognised and has scooped the Outstanding Commitment to Best Bar None award at a Best Bar None event at the House of Lords in London.

The city’s scheme was also one of only three finalists up for the Best Overall Scheme and was highly commended at the ceremony.

Tracey said: “I am absolutely overwhelmed to be recognised nationally. I’ve only been able to achieve this with the support from all the partners and premises involved, so this is down to their hard work too as much as mine.

“When I started Best Bar None there were only a few of us involved but it’s gone from strength to strength since then.
