The city’s scheme was also one of only three finalists up for the Best Overall Scheme and was highly commended at the ceremony.

Tracey said: “I am absolutely overwhelmed to be recognised nationally. I’ve only been able to achieve this with the support from all the partners and premises involved, so this is down to their hard work too as much as mine.

“When I started Best Bar None there were only a few of us involved but it’s gone from strength to strength since then.

“We have purchased mobile phone chargers for Sheffield Street Pastors and we have the award-winning Best Bar None app .”

Councillor Cate Mcdonald, cabinet member for health and social care at Sheffield City Council thanked everyone involved.

“Congratulations to Tracey who deserves the award and is completely committed to the scheme.

“I would also like to say thank you to everyone in the service, and partners across the city for the hard work they put in to keeping our city centre leisure industry running safely.”
