DBLÂ Sharks Sheffield are learning from the lessons of last season as they seek to kick-start this campaign.

Changes in personnel and a packed schedule have seen the reigning BBL Play-Off champions drop five of their opening eight league games.

But as Sharks prepare to host the unbeaten London Lions tonight, captain Mike Tuck points out that memories can be short in sport.

"It's been a frustrating start for us, especially after the way we ended last season," said the 2016 Play-Off Final MVP. "We are trying to stay positive and focus on the overall season.

"A lot of people forget that last year we were in tenth position in the standings in December. We ended up going on a great run, carrying that through the Play-Offs and winning the championship.

"It is not how you start, it's how you finish. That is perhaps the biggest lesson I took from last season."
