The Star runs a headline on the front page telling the people of Sheffield how many deaths are caused by air pollution but I have to say I find the Star’s stance on situations such as Smithy Woods and the loss of other valuable Greenbelt and wooded sites to be lukewarm at best.
You are The Star, you have the power to rally and coordinate, to call men, women and children to arms, to motivate and inspire, but you do not.
You sit on the fence and watch Sheffield fall behind and into disarray and disrepair. This is insanity.
It is time to choose what type of a future you want to see for Sheffield and became proactive in ensuring that it is achieved.
Otherwise I fear our grandchildren and their children will look back and consider our actions to be selfish and shortsighted.
