Basking in the glow of soft, autumnal sunshine South Yorkshire never looked so good.
You can almost hear the crunch of leaves underfoot with these picture-perfect views of Sheffield’s Norfolk Heritage Park and Whirlowbrook Park.
Captured in all their fruitful glory, the green spaces are enough to stir a sense of local pride in the most cynical of souls.
But enjoy it while it lasts, folks, because there’s a big grey cloud on the horizon.
Weather forecasters predict it’s going to be wet, wet, wet – and windy – from today onwards.
Temperatures are set to hit highs of between 13C and 15C today and be slightly cooler at 11C tomorrow – but the rain will pour across South Yorkshire.
Matt Dobson, a weather forecaster for Meteogroup, said: “It has been quite mild and sunny but from today there will be a big change.
“Rain is going to sweep in and it is going to be very wet and windy.
“It might get a bit nicer in the afternoon but tomorrow there will be one or two showers.”
