It is probably all very innocent

Have your say

I SAW the large and very expensive-looking two-page advertisement in The Star (Feb 21) and wondered who comprise the No Campaign group? Who pays their bills.

Both the Lib Dems and Labour are in favour of the Alternative Vote, AV, the Tories, however, are against.

Why, you may wonder, is there such division between the parties? There has been some recent research which shows that if AV had been in place, the Conservatives would have lost every election but one in the last 30 years. So there is no wonder why there is such division.

It does make one a teeny bit suspicious: who are the No Campaign group and where do they get there funds? It’s all very innocent, probably.
