A store on St Leonards Avenue in Thrybergh was held up at around 5.45am on Friday, March, 23 and at 7.25am a store on Flanderwell Lane in Bramley, was targeted.

Acting Detective Inspector Aneela Khalil-Khan said: "Thankfully there were no injuries sustained by anyone during the robberies, however it is an incredibly distressing incident to be made to endure and staff are understandably shaken and upset.

"We are treating the robberies as linked and have already made various enquiries in connection to both crimes including forensic analysis and viewing CCTV footage.
