NINE young people from the Kashmir region of Pakistan visited Rotherham as part of an international exchange through the Active Citizens programme run by the British Council.

This first visit by the Active Citizens from Pakistan to Rotherham involved an action-packed seven-day stay, which included a visit to places of historical and cultural interest such as Clifton Park Museum and the Town Hall, where they met Mayor, Coun Rose McNeely. They also visited Chatsworth House in Derbyshire and were guests at a community celebration.
