An inquest has been opened into the death of a man attacked outside a Sheffield supermarket.

Ahmed Sayeed Adan, aged 40, from Burngreave, was attacked outside Emin Supermarket, Spital Hill, on Sunday, November 20 and died nine days later.

A post-mortem examination concluded that Mr Adan died as a result of head injuries.
