AN INQUEST into the circumstances surrounding the death of a man found on the steps of Doncaster Coroners' Court was due to be opened today.

Police were called to the Union Street courthouse at the weekend after reports of a body outside the front entrance.
It was later identified as that of 46-year-old Michael Pidgeon, who was of no fixed address. He had been staying at the M25 homeless shelter next door.
