Injured bus passengers to take legal action after horror crash in Chesterfield

The collision happened on Brimington Road at 5pm on Thursday, March 3, and involved a bus and two cars.

Now a number of passengers who suffered injuries on the number 70 Killamarsh bus have instructed injury lawyers at Irwin Mitchell to investigate the cause of the collision.

Police had to close Brimington Road until the early hours of the following day after the crash in order to examine the scene.

The driver of one of the cars suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham.

A man driving the other car – a Vauxhall Astra – went to hospital in Chesterfield with minor injuries.

A 37-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing injuries by dangerous driving and bailed pending further investigations.
