Incorrect figures

In my first letter I responded to a letter that attacked mining communities and went on to state subsequent Labour governments had closed more pits than Mrs Thatcher.

Nowhere was anything prior to Mrs Thatcher’s government mentioned.

In my second letter where the same individual responded with more fallacies about pit closures, I quoted pit closures 1947 to present.

I am well aware of what Wilson and indeed Macmillan did to the coal industry as indeed have all British governments since the end of World War 2.
