A CYCLE race will be held on Sunday in memory of a semi-professional athlete who died while out riding his bike.

The annual race will take place on Sunday for the third time in memory of Pete Hinchliffe, aged 33, of Balby, who died in September 2010 while out riding just six months after getting married.

The race sets off from Tickhill Cricket Club, Alderson Drive, at 9am and 33-mile and 50-mile routes are available to cyclists.
