Improving picture on South Yorkshire's roads

Road conditions are improving in South Yorkshire with many services now operating their normal routes.

First South Yorkshire has issued the following list of services still affected by snow and ice:

10 to Doncaster - not operating around Broadway, Balby. Using Broomhouse Lane.

13 to Bramley - Hellaby View closed.

18 to Meadowhall and Sheffield Interchange - diverted directly along Chesterfield Road to Bochum Parkway, Gleadless Townend and normal route to Meadowhall (Not serving Scarsdale Road, Hollythorpe or Heeley)

Diverted due to burst water pipe – Norton Lane, Bochum Parkway, Chesterfield Road

18a to Jordanthorpe - via Chesterfield Road not Woodseats Road.

19 to Chancet Wood - diverted directly along Chesterfield Road to terminate Abbey Lane Roundabout (Not serving Scarsdale Road, Hollythorpe or Heeley)

20 to Hemsworth -normal planned diversion from Hemsworth due to burst waster main, but not serving Derbyshire Lane/Scarsdale Road. Using Chesterfield Road due to icy conditions at present.

28 to Dinnington - not using Dog Kennel lane, Via Todwick and A57

41 to city centre - service resumed, diverted via Silkstone Road, Dykle Vale Road, Coisley Hill roundabout, missing out Wickfield Road, then back the same way.

51/ 51a to Charnock - terminating at Gleadless Townend due to icey conditions at Charnock

52a to Woodhouse - not serving the Heavygate Avenue bus stop inbound

66 to High Green - terminating at Chapelfields

72 to Meadowhall - not serving Waverley.
