IMPROVEMENTS have been made to bus services and stations following comments made to South Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive.

The organisation is inviting passengers to give feedback through its ‘You Said, We Did’ programme.

Latest improvements have been introduction of city centre bus stop locations on Sheffield route maps, improved road markings on disabled bays at Meadowhall Interchange Park and Ride, and new floor markings and signs in Doncaster Information Centre.

QR codes have also been added to all bus stop timetables so people can scan them with mobile phones and receive timetable information.

Meanwhile, Stagecoach has launched a four-week consultation until February 28 on services between Rotherham and Doncaster.

Commercial director Rupert Cox said: “All comments collected will be used to shape the future network.”
