Creative people will have a chance to meet and share ideas at a new event set up by the University of Sheffield.
On Wednesday, September 21, between 11am and 4pm, Firth Hall, on Western Bank, will be home to The Ideas Bazaar, the university’s first event of its kind for Sheffield’s creative community.
The event will be compered by writer and broadcaster Christopher Green, who will act as a ‘cultural matchmaker’, introducing people to help new ideas and projects develop.
And there is funding to make the best ideas a reality.
Professor Keith Burnett, vice-chancellor of Sheffield University, said: “We want to bring together anyone else in the city who loves ideas and would like to share them - practitioners, students, teachers, academics - or anyone with a genuine interest.
The day is free. Visit www.shef.ac.uk/ideasbazaar/attendees to register, or contact Polly Wilson on 0114 222 5322.
