I can't wait to get away

In response to your article '˜Page Hall is on the up', this person obviously doesn't live here.

This week alone I have had six mattresses, several broken bikes, a shopping trolley, chairs, a video recorder and amp and numerous bags of household rubbish dumped outside my house.

Small children are playing out on the streets until after midnight, most nights with no parent supervision.

Last weekend I was kept awake until 3am with loud music blaring out and a gang shouting in the street.

There was no reply from the police on telephone number 101.

My car has been targeted several times, tyres let down, chewing gum stuck on the roof and scraped all down one side where a car had reversed up my road and taken my car with it.

I have lived very happily in Page Hall for 45 years but now sadly cannot wait to get away.

I just wish someone could tell me how I do that, on my own at age 68?

It is such a shame to see what the Roma community have done to this area.
