Hunt for men who conned elderly gent out of £4,000
On February 18, a group of men offered to carry out some minor work at the house of a 73-year-old man in Old Whittington.
He paid them for the work but they returned the next day and demanded £4,000 from the man. He visited a bank in Chesterfield town centre to withdraw the money but bank staff were concerned and called police.
